| Steve began his own carpet cleaning business when he was 22 years old, and he and his sons continue to operate Rainbow Carpet Cleaning which is in its 36th year. Back in 1990, carpet manufacturers were asking carpet cleaners to become trained to be carpet inspectors. Steve took his initial class in Oklahoma to get certified with the IICRC for carpet, and over the following years, this expanded into hard surface flooring and countertops (solid surface/stone). As of 2016, Steve has performed several thousand flooring inspections in all parts of the northwest United States and continues to get ongoing training related to changes in the flooring industry. |
