| Third generation in the flooring industry. Started out hand sewing carpet seams a 9. Manager of non-family owned retail flooring business for two years in High School until leaving for college. Paid way through Clemson University, installing carpet, vinyl, and cleaning carpets. Went into retail flooring sales after college before becoming Sales and Installation Manager at JP Steven’s/Gulistan Carpets. Started my own flooring business after JP Steven’s was bought out by Westpoint Pepperell. Specialized in retail, commercial, and government contracts for 26 years. After semi-retiring, returned to the flooring industry as a consultant on sales and installation. Founding member of C&J General Contractors worked as Division Manager of Flooring. Mainly worked restoration projects through Insurance Adjusters and Property Owners. Quality Assurance Manager with Real Floors Inc. Advanced Training CRI installation certification 104 and 105 in 1997. Certified sales and installation for We Cork and Natural Cork Certified sales and installation of Columbia Woods and Mirage Wood. Trained at Ceramic Tile Education Foundation(CTEF) Certified heat welding seams Armstrong Advised on IICRC panel for carpet installation guidelines. Knowledgeable of Federal ADA requirements and guidelines of flooring specs and installation |
